Thank you all so much for your kind messages after hearing about Rory’s passing last week. It’s been an incredibly tough time, and I’ve spent most of the week struggling emotionally. Still, I’m trying to hold it together for the boys. My dear friend Jen kindly recommended a book, and it has been such a comforting bedtime read for us, offering some solace during this difficult period.
To keep moving forward, we’re going apple and pumpkin picking this weekend with friends and their two-year-old daughter. I’m excited to explore a new farm and orchard that promises plenty of fun activities to keep the boys entertained and active. For the occasion, I’ll be wearing my new olive green jacket. It’s a bit lighter than I anticipated, but it’s such a great piece to throw on when you need just a touch of warmth without overheating.
I’m still thinking about ordering this perfect navy jacket that I’ve been eyeing online for what feels like the hundredth time. I’m not sure if it’s a necessity for my wardrobe, but it certainly feels like it would be a timeless addition that I could wear for years. I love when classic pieces like a Barbour jacket come back into style — it means there are always so many new and exciting options available!
